OGE' Director Meets with the Chair of the Federal Reserve to Discuss the Importance of the Ethics Program

On May 14, OGE's Director, Walter M. Shaub Jr., met with the Chair of the Federal Reserve, Janet L. Yellen, to discuss the importance of the ethics program and the role of agency leadership in promoting an ethical culture within each agency.

The executive branch ethics program focuses on preventing conflicts of interest in the executive branch to achieve a high level of public confidence in the integrity of government programs and operations. The success of the ethics program depends on the active support of an agency's leadership.
